Holiday Inn-Albany Mall

I used to give this hotel five stars for the convenient location and decent service, and the service is still good. But after last night’s roach rumble in my room, I probably won’t stay here anymore. I spend a lot of money with this hotel regularly, and I paid for early check-in as a CHOICE PRIVILEGES MEMBER. It was Tuesday, with plenty of rooms available when I walked around the property, but I still couldn’t get a room without roaches. At first, the woman I called denied there were roaches. When I said I’d record and take pictures, she said they couldn’t move me and would come spray. There were so many, both baby and full-grown roaches in broad daylight. I left the ones I killed there as proof. The spray made my eyes burn, and I slept with all the lights on. Even after spraying, they were still everywhere. I included one picture as an example: two baby roaches eating the rubbing alcohol I poured to try to keep them away. They were right by my bed, headboard, and clock. I should’ve escalated this to corporate, but the front desk guy has always treated me well, so I’ll let it go. The woman at the front desk needs to be investigated. A hotel should inspect after the first complaint, whether the roaches were there in the order I found them or not. It’s the South, and I know bugs get tracked in at hotels down south, but this was unacceptable.

Patrick, the manager, makes everything easier whenever we come for work. We stay at Quality Inn often, and it’s always a great experience. Reservations are quick and easy, the rooms are very clean, and everyone is kind. We’ve never had any problems. I’d definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Patrick Patel was fantastic with customer service and really went above and beyond. I’ve never had this kind of experience in this city. This is the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Thanks for helping my kids and doing everything you could. Best experience.

The staff don’t care about customers, and I’ll never stay here again. In room 208 upstairs by the pool, water was seeping through the whole vinyl floor, leaving a sour smell. They tried to tell me the floor was sweating from the A/C, but nobody else’s floor was like that. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned at all, and the bedspreads were filthy, spotted, and dirty. There were gaps in the door leading into the room. Quality Inn at Albany Mall is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
