We needed the location, and it worked well for that. The woman at the service desk was very nice and moved us to a second-floor room after the first one smelled strongly of dog. The new room had no dog smell, though the hall smelled like pot. There were several problems in the room: an outlet had exposed wire and no cover, the bathroom door's handle was broken with no insert so it wouldn't latch, and the toilet paper roll had no holder. Both the bathroom sink drain and shower drain were missing covers. Breakfast was waffles or cold cereal, just those options.

Rooms are spacious and work well for people using wheelchairs. The rates are reasonable, the place is quiet, and both the owner and staff are courteous. A really nice stop when traveling through Albany.

The room was cozy and really nice, and the receptionist made a stressful booking problem much easier. I was struggling to rebook, and he stayed patient, kind, and professional through the process. There were a few obstacles, but the service was so good that the stay turned out great. I'd recommend this hotel for a comfortable visit and genuinely helpful customer service.

There were roaches, rust all over, thin towels, and a strange smell in the room. The area felt decent and safe, and if you're short on money it can serve as somewhere to sleep, but you might as well go to the pull up motel. Check-in is at 3 pm, so don't expect to arrive earlier. I'm not staying at one of these ahi again.

There was lots of mold in the bathroom and roaches too. I know these things can happen, but reviews keep mentioning roaches, and I don't understand why nothing has been done. At 5 am one in the toilet startled me badly. When I went back a few hours later, I found a younger one. After realizing they had roaches, I couldn't sleep. I'm glad we didn't eat the breakfast.
