The desk staff were fine, but the WiFi was completely unusable and my keycard quit working early, so I had to go back to the front office to get it reactivated. Those were the main reasons for my low rating. The room also felt disappointing: no microwave, a broken door latch, what looked like small blood stains in the bathroom, and a roach. You can hear everything through the walls. I ran the fan all night, which helped a little, but I could still hear all sorts of noise from the parking lot. The area reminded me of the Tenderloin in SF. If you arrive after about 8 p.m., good luck finding food open within a few miles.

The neighborhood around this hotel felt very unsafe, with people who appeared drug-impaired lying in the streets. In the room, there was no microwave, no working ice machine, no phone, and no coffee maker. The TV had a problem and needed fixing. Only one person could understand and speak English. The service was poor and the basics were missing. Don’t waste your money.

The location is rough, with a lot of users up and down the street, but I didn’t find it dangerous. The place itself was nice for the price, with clean rooms and a very nice woman checking me in. If rougher areas don’t bother you, it’s a good fit.

The neighborhood feels rough, and I don’t feel safe here. I’m not sure whether I’ll stay the night or find somewhere else.
