Sara's complaints about bleach-smelling sheets seem misplaced to me. Clean sheets can smell like bleach, and if they smelled of flowers, she might complain about fabric softener causing a rash. The hotel is in ABQ, not the Ritz. I've never seen homeless people wandering around here, though I have seen them in the area. On my last stay, the only person who seemed sketchy was a man who drove up in the parking lot with a fake sad story to ask for money. A staff member came outside to keep an eye on things in case I needed help. My room was clean, the Wi-Fi was fast, the new coffee machine made a good cup, and everyone was really nice and helpful. The night clerk gave me a little well-deserved grief after I locked myself out for the third time. I like the location near the airport, the AFB, and the college, since my customers are at the latter two. I'll stay here again.

After 12 hours on the road, all I wanted was a good night's rest. I didn't feel safe here at any point. People I assumed were homeless were throughout the hotel, and one tried to open my door. We paid $300 total, $150 per room, for a filthy place that seemed to be operating as a homeless shelter. The sheets smelled strongly of bleach and left a rash on my arms. My room smelled like wet clothes, so I wiped things down with Lysol just to feel somewhat comfortable. The bathtub was disgusting, with hair and visible foot stains. The only good part was Laura at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. The property doesn't deserve her. I've never stayed at such a nasty Holiday Inn. It's a shame the owner hasn't dealt with these problems, especially since I overheard another guest in the lobby raising similar complaints.

Alyssa checked in with us periodically during our trip to see how we were doing, and the staff overall were welcoming. The hotel was spotless, and we're glad we chose it. The complimentary breakfast was generous, with coffee, juice, cheese omelets, yogurt, sausage, and pastries. The room came with a thermostat, flat-screen TV, fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, and digital alarm clock. The tub and shower had Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. It's also near the airport and Interstates 25 and 40. We'd definitely stay again.

I've stayed here many times over the past 10 years. It's clean and well organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast is pretty decent.
