Dan made us feel cared for right away after the long drive. My teenage daughter and I had booked two nights for a last-minute long weekend near Middleburg, and the quiet, beautiful setting was just what we needed to unwind. As horse farmers, we felt at home there. The rooms are quaint and cozy, and breakfast was a highlight: my daughter said the pancakes beat mine, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. It felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, not staying at an anonymous resort. WiFi is limited, and Verizon coverage around Aldie wasn’t good for us, but we were glad to disconnect a bit. We’d love to return to foxhunt, shop, and explore. Thanks, Dan!

We were there for a wedding, and the place worked well for accommodating a group. The rooms were a good size, with several bathrooms to choose from. The fridge in the main house really needs a deep clean, though. I also woke up with a rash from the bedding, and it lingered for several days after we left. I’d bring my own sheets and pillowcases if staying here.

After our wedding reception, we got to relax with friends and family by the pool and hot tub, which was the cherry on top of the weekend. My now-husband and I held our June wedding at Briar Patch, and it was awesome to celebrate there for the whole weekend. The grounds are beautiful, and the Inn felt clean and cozy. Ellen, Dan, and Doron were all great to work with, easygoing and flexible, and they listened to us.

The area is beautiful, with wildflowers and butterflies everywhere, and even our little dog seemed to love it. I went with my extended family, five adults and two young kids, and we stayed five nights. We had a really great time, and the breakfast was really good.

The staff were so friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating, and we loved walking around the property. My husband and I were there over the weekend for a friend’s wedding and had a fabulous home-cooked, balanced breakfast both mornings. We absolutely loved our stay at Briar Patch B&B and would definitely come back.
