Lake Darling Resort

The clubhouse has lots going on upstairs, and the staff are friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and the pool temperature was decent. The lake views are excellent. These luxury villas felt like a home away from home, and I’d highly recommend them.

We barely had to pack because the villas came with the things we needed. The staff were welcoming and always ready to help, and it made this a perfect family getaway.

Villa #5 gave all eight of us, six adults and two kids, room to be together during our six-day family vacation at Lake Darling Resort. We’re leaving with happy hearts and memories for life. Two adults use wheelchairs, so having a large first-floor bedroom and an accessible bathroom and shower worked perfectly. The spacious main floor let them get around easily; upstairs there were three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. The furnished rooms and bathrooms felt homey enough that the grandkids asked whose home it was. The kitchen had good quality appliances and cookware, and we never found ourselves missing a cooking utensil. Having a washer and dryer in the villa was a comfort, too. Outside, we had a screened porch, grill, patio set, and our own fire pit area. Kayaks, canoes, a paddle boat, life jackets, and the beach were all free to use. We also rented a pontoon to fish farther out on the lake. Finding this resort was just right for our family. We give it our highest recommendation!

We shared the villa with my adult children and my brother and his wife while in town for a family reunion. Even though it was April, it was still quite cold, so we didn’t use many of the lakefront amenities. The views were a real wow, and the villa itself was gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace started right up, and the heated floors were a lovely bonus. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. We had a great stay and would absolutely come back to this beautiful resort if we’re in the area again.
