Motel 6 Alexandria, LA - South

This is my family’s go-to place. We feel comfortable and safe here, and the staff are always welcoming. Mr. Nayan and Mr. Nick are ready to help and provide great service. Sure, there can be small hiccups, but who doesn’t have those? I love the whole team at Motel 6.

The front desk staff were professional and helpful, and there’s plenty of food and shopping nearby. I’m here for work because most other places were booked, and I’m hoping something opens up soon. The room looks as old as it smells. There’s muddy-looking residue on the furniture and black splatter marks all over the walls. I’m stuck here for now, so I’ll use my own linens and clean the tub with bleach. I also heard what sounded like a domestic abuse incident upstairs, with a couple fighting loudly. The property feels neglected, so I’d avoid staying here unless you really have to.

For an inexpensive motel, this is a good option. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly, maybe a bit too chatty for people who just want to check in and get upstairs. The beds had some pretty nasty stains and should be replaced, and the blankets had burn holes.

I’ve been coming here for years and still love it. The place is clean and feels safe, and the staff are really friendly. Manager Nick always puts in extra effort to help guests.
