Economy Inn

The college is close by, which was the only good thing for us. Inside the room, there was a strong mold smell, and the towels, sheets, and furniture were all stained. At night, people upstairs yelled for hours and it was very loud. The rooms don't look like the photos. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice, but seemed unsure of what he was doing. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even for one night.

The room was well maintained, and I had a pleasant stay. The owner was friendly and very nice. The surroundings were peaceful, with a nice view.

After a long night drive, I arrived in the morning to a warm welcome from the management person, who was waiting for me. They handed me water and the keys, brought me to a clean room, and checked that the heating and other things worked. I was given extra blankets, and they checked later to see if I needed anything. Very helpful, and the price was good too.

I had prepaid, but chose not to stay the night. The sheets had black hairs, the door only had a flimsy handle lock, and I couldn't get the A/C working. I didn't think I'd be able to sleep there. The room didn't smell bad and seemed mostly clean. I don't want to write this review because I think the owner is trying hard, and running a motel in a small market is tough. Still, I don't want someone to end up far off the beaten track somewhere they don't feel comfortable. I've stayed in motels with doors opening onto the parking lot, and I don't think I'm a Prima donna. I just want a clean bed and room, quiet, and the illusion of security.
