Casual Living Extended Stay Hotels

Joe was so helpful and had everything we needed in the apartment. We could also spend time in, with the option of cooking or just relaxing, and enjoyed the Fox River view from the lounge. Algonquin centre, with its bars, restaurants and shops, was an easy short walk away. The apartment worked really well as a home away from home while we visited friends in Lake in the Hills, just 5 miles away. I'd highly recommend it.

We had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, and the shared laundry was a nice bonus. The river view is lovely, too. We stayed for a week in September and found it a great base for the surrounding area, with Algonquin's restaurants and bars just a short walk away. We'd stay again.

I usually struggle to sleep well on unfamiliar beds and end up with back or neck pain when I travel. Neither happened here, and my back in particular was grateful. The rooms are comfortable, with charming furniture, and made it easy to unwind after a day out. Lots of activities are easy to get to from the Algonquin waterfront location. This is simply a great place to stay, the kind of spot that makes you feel you're in a good place.

The spacious kitchen lets us settle in and cook, and we always enjoy the river view. My husband and I come for 2-3 weeks each year to visit family and friends, and this has become our home away from home. Joe is a gracious host and responds to whatever we need. Much better for us than spending that time in one hotel room.
