We were in town for our grandson's soccer tournament over the weekend, and my son secretly called ahead to say it was our anniversary and arrange an upgrade to the Presidential suite. We had no idea until we arrived, where Sherry, the owner, greeted us warmly. She's super nice and engaging, and her home is stunning, full of things that make great conversation. She showed us our magnificent room and told us some of the house and furnishings' history. We needed to leave early Sunday at 7:15 AM and said we wouldn't need breakfast, but she made an early meal no trouble at all. We came downstairs at 6:45 to an elegant spread: homemade scones, fruit, homemade quiche, toast, juice and a choice of tea or coffee. She sat with us and we had a great conversation. Words aren't enough to describe the experience.

We spent two nights in the Presidential Chamber, and it felt gorgeous and luxurious, especially the bed. The room was cozy for reading and relaxing, with lovely natural light during the day. The real wood furniture and decorations were beautiful, and we loved them. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, homemade scones, a hot dish, coffee and orange juice. We enjoyed chatting with Sherry and the other guests around the dining table. On our second night, we walked around the corner to The Black Bear Bistro and the other nearby restaurants. The mini fridge was useful for leftovers and came stocked with free water bottles and assorted sodas. We'd definitely recommend the Victorian Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast for a cozy break from life's stresses.

Sherry made us feel like family, and the rooms were gorgeous. My wife and I had a magical stay at her B&B, with a comfortable bed, great breakfast and a chance to relax. This will be our home away from home.

We had a lovely stay at Sherry's beautiful bed and breakfast. The peaceful area and thoughtful amenities made us comfortable, and plenty of places to eat were within walking distance. Sherry's an excellent baker, her cookies were delicious, and breakfast looked and tasted top notch. We hope to visit again soon!

For our Mother/Daughter weekend, we wanted to unwind, and the quiet room let us sleep long and hard in total comfort. Breakfast was still generous, delicious and beautifully served, just as I remembered from my visit 12 years ago with a rowdy group of girlfriends. We chose the Victorian Rose Garden B&B for this escape, and it was a peaceful, pampering treat. Sherry's hospitality is impeccable.
