The main issue was the stained sheets, with several strands of hair on the bed linen too. Apart from that, the room was nice for the price, and the furniture looked more modern than what you'd usually see at a budget hotel. Breakfast was pleasantly filling, and the man at the front desk was really friendly and made us feel welcome.

Having plenty of parking right near the freeway was a big draw for me. I booked one bed, but was given a room with two, one soft and one firm, so I could choose. The room had standard amenities and a nice flat-screen TV, though the TV didn't work. Still, I got a pleasant night's rest. Really great otherwise.

Vince was the bright spot in a stay that otherwise involved a lot of unprofessionalism. His hospitality and customer service were impeccable, and he did his best to make us comfortable. Without him, we probably wouldn't have stayed more than a day. If you stay here, ask for him. You get what you pay for with the rooms. They're a decent size, but there's no fridge or microwave. The bathroom kept developing mold, which I cleaned with a grout brush and Fabuloso. The property is under construction, but the noise wasn't much of a problem. The mess from the work was: my boyfriend kept finding nails in his tires, and fixing them cost him over $1,000. There are many families here, and a child could accidentally step on one. For a couple of weeks, the workers also shut off the water for hours at a time without warning, and it happened repeatedly. I was furious when the water went off just as I was about to rinse conditioner and soap off. Guests should be told when an essential utility will be unavailable, by email or phone. The owner said a water pipe had burst, but I find it hard to believe the pipes burst every other day for two weeks and were repaired within five hours each time. I wish the owner had been honest and apologized for not giving notice instead of making what sounded like an unbelievable excuse. There were fruit flies everywhere, which was disgusting. A lot else went on at this motel too, but to sum it up, you get what you pay for.
