The place was clean, and the evening front desk woman was lovely, smiling and helpful. The rooms feel a little dated, the cable selection is mediocre, and USB ports would be useful away from just the bedside. The coffee was cold across all three options. Guests were microwaving cups, but we were told paper cups couldn’t go in because they might have metal in them. Then the urns were removed, almost exactly at 6 a.m. I suspect the rule had more to do with our jokes about the bad coffee than protecting the microwave. They were a bit late getting the coffee ready.

The beds are hard enough that I wake up with back pain every day. The staff are friendly, and the hotel feels clean and welcoming, with nicely decorated rooms. Still, it’s better than Holliday inn.

They keep people’s money even when there’s an emergency in the family, and won’t refund it so everyone can leave. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to any family or friends. Don’t book ahead, either. Even if someone in your family is dying, they show no compassion or willingness to help.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were nice, but the room carpet smelled old and damp, and the A/C was leaking. The hotel is being renovated. The woman at the desk said she couldn’t move me until the next day, though she did send maintenance to inspect the unit.
