The room was disgusting, and I felt gross even after showering as soon as I left. There was hair and crumbs in the bed, stains on the chair and walls, unswept floors, mold on the bathroom ceiling and sink, and a terrible smell. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. I wouldn’t go barefoot anywhere in there, especially the bathroom. We paid online, but at check-in they said they don’t honor online prices and charged us $10 more. It may be cheap, but if you can afford it, spend extra for a cleaner room and staff who care. Nasty, ugly, rude. They don’t care, and I wouldn’t come back. At 5 a.m. we’d locked the key and wallet in the room, so I called the number they had posted for lockouts. I’m guessing the owner answered and rudely complained about having to go up and down, saying it was 1 a.m. I asked if I could pick them up the next day, and she said she’d tell housekeeping in the morning. I’d add photos, but I’m afraid the nastiness would spread through my phone. This place should be shut down.

I got the lowest rate of all the hotels in Alice for two weeks. Everyone was very friendly, and housekeeping always made sure I had what I needed. I loved my room. It was much nicer than I expected for what I paid, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget.

There was filth everywhere, with cockroaches and spiders, and the maids pounded on the door before checkout time, yelling for us to get out. It was the rudest, dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Even short on money, I’d sleep in my car before coming back.

I’d give no stars if I could, and I’ll never stay here again. On arrival the room smelled musty, like there might be mold inside the walls, and cigarette smoke from people nearby came through the thin walls throughout my stay. I called to report the suspected mold and said I was feeling unwell with sinus congestion and a cough after the exposure. The representative just apologized for the inconvenience and told me to call back if I needed anything. That’s ridiculous customer service. After paying online, I spent five hours making repeated calls because their systems and phone were down, and they couldn’t reach the hotel manager to confirm my reservation. I told the representative I was inconvenienced and wanted a refund for all that time on the phone. He put me on hold, then came back with the same response: they couldn’t refund me because I’d stayed and the booking showed as used, and I should call back about any inconvenience. When I asked for his manager, he disconnected the call after I’d already spent so long on the line. Completely unprofessional. This was my first and last time here.
