The indoor pool was a highlight, especially the comfortable water temperature. I only wish there were showers in the pool area so guests could rinse off before getting in. Our room was a good size and the toilet was clean, and everyone on staff was polite. Breakfast was reasonable too. I’d recommend this hotel for a short visit.

Our room felt a bit dated beside other hotels we’ve stayed in lately, though everything in it worked. The hotel was full for the first few days, and we could hear some kids, but nights stayed very quiet. We had a good stay.

The breakfast stood out, especially the individually wrapped pastries you don’t usually see at hotel breakfasts. It’s about five minutes from the interstate and five minutes from the St. Bonaventure campus, and the price was good for what you get. The place is older but clean and comfortable. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could, since the mattresses were soft and due for replacement. Everything else was great.

When someone comes in from out of state after nearly dying in a whiteout and asks for help with an emergency, a little empathy matters. Even if the overnight front desk staff can’t help in the way requested, they should respond with compassion. They need serious customer service training.
