Gallets House B&B

Gallets House brought back memories of staying at my grandparents’ home as a child. We booked every room for a family wedding, and the decor has a pleasant, consistent feel throughout. We stayed in Mary Elizabeth, where the green and cream colors and leaf and flower pattern made the room feel restful. There was plenty of seating, a separate bathroom, a small fridge, and enough table or desk space in each room. Our bed was very comfortable, so we woke well rested. Joan and Lilliana were friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the prices were fair. We’d happily return.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Our room cost less than the other nearby options.

Joan made us feel right at home at their beautiful Victorian Inn, and she’s so easy to talk to. She’s also a terrific cook. Breakfast came with fresh coffee, juice, fruit cups, and a hot entree. Her omelets were especially good, and I could’ve eaten twice as much.

We booked here back in July for parents weekend @ Bonaventure because everywhere else close by was already full. It’s near the university, and the staff were very friendly. The room was small but clean, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was fantastic. It might not be my first pick for an overnight stay, but I’d certainly consider coming back.
