Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Olean/Allegany

I’d stayed here years ago when I lived in Olean, while our house was being remodeled, so I was unsure about coming back. I’m glad I did. We spent a few days here while traveling for Thanksgiving with the kids, and it was the best stay I’ve had in a while. The hotel and our room were clean, and the staff went above and beyond. Housekeeping checked every day to see if we needed anything. Breakfast was simple and great, and they’ve made some really good improvements and remodeled since my earlier visit.

The location worked perfectly for our Saint Bonaventure event, and the price was very good compared with other hotels nearby. The rooms are brand new and clean, with comfortable beds and bathroom supplies including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

After a tiring trip in bad weather, Christina made check-in easy and was so kind to our family. She chatted with the kids and gave them prizes from the treasure chest. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re passing through.

The parking was the one downside. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we’d definitely return on our next trip. We found the Microtel on Hotel.com while looking for somewhere near St. Bonaventure University and the surrounding area. The photos don’t do it justice: our room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Being able to get a hot breakfast sealed the deal, and checking in and out on my phone was so easy.
