Amber, who works the afternoon desk, made a horrible day so much better. I can't say enough about what an incredible employee she is. Everything about the room was amazing, and the whole staff were amazing too. This is probably the best hotel in Alan, Texas. Thank you, Shannan Browning.

The staff were great, and I'd still stay here again despite the room needing repairs. The tub faucet needs work, the wall mood lights have a short, the outside of the windows needs cleaning, and the room phone didn't work. The location was great, with easy freeway access and eateries nearby. The free breakfast was as good as usual.

Score: 3.7/10 Cleanliness and breakfast were fine, but the Wi-Fi was unusable. I got only 0.06 Mbps. Maybe the 4th floor's physical obstructions and signal interference played a part, but that doesn't excuse speeds this awful. A public building should never be this slow. Avoid this place if you need to binge YouTube or do a lot of heavy online work.

A nice, well cared for hotel, and my room was clean. Breakfast was OK, the usual Holiday Inn fare. I'd stay here again.

The location was the only good part. Our room smelled like old wet clothes, was nasty, and the AC didn't work. We had no hot water either. We booked three nights but left after one. When I told the young woman at the desk, she didn't seem to care and said sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes for hot water. This place is terrible, and we'll never come back.
