Playing cornhole by the restaurant while we waited for dinner was a fun little extra. We liked the wings with their special rub and the fried bologna sandwich, too. Our family stayed at the Lake House, which had plenty of room and seating for all 10 of us, plus a great grill. The bedrooms used the space well, and it was nice to have shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the bathrooms. I shared the bunk room with three others. The bed was comfortable, though there was no top sheet and only a light blanket, so I got a bit cold at night. We went out on the pontoon with the water slide on our first day. The lake looked beautiful, the water was clean and just the right temperature, and it wasn't crowded. On the other two days we took smaller boats out for tubing and fishing. The marina store staff and dock hands were kind and attentive. We had a really relaxing stay at Mitchell Creek Marina and would love to come back.

The cabin had a perfect view, and the town and marina were even better than I expected. The scenery is hard to beat, and everyone we met was so kind, helpful, and outgoing. The food was amazing, too. One of the most beautiful places I've visited. 10/10, we'll be back!

The deck was a great place to sit, though some shade would have helped. The hot tub would have been lovely, but we came in August. Inside, the couch was amazing, the appliances were great, and the compact kitchen worked well for us. It lacked mixing bowls and sharp knives, though, so keep that in mind if you're planning to cook meals. I also found the bed less comfortable than I'd like, but I'm pretty picky. We loved the room's view, and the recent remodel made everything feel new and fresh. The furnishings were really nice. The cabin was perfect for the two of us, but I don't see six people being comfortable with just one bathroom and such a small kitchen. I can recommend it for a couple staying at the lake.

We found a cove to stay in after checking in. There were a few small issues, but they were taken care of quickly. We loved the water and the wildlife, and we're already looking forward to another visit.

The cabins were clean and had a really nice layout, with space for the whole family and enough privacy when we wanted it. They could use a bit more maintenance, though. Booking through Golden Vacation went smoothly, and renting a pontoon was easy. The pier staff were very helpful, as were the Mitchell Creek Marina employees in general. Dale Hollow lake is huge and beautiful. This was our first trip to Tennessee, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly and accommodating. Good, honest, sincere people. If you own a boat or want to rent one for the day, we'd highly recommend Mitchell Creek Marina.
