Aloft by Marriott Alpharetta

Parking was easy, and you can walk right to Burlington, tj max, and the nearby restaurants, including Chilli's and PF chang. The location next to the shopping complex is a real plus. Staff were friendly, and the bar had good drinks. My room was spacious, though the mattress was softer than I like. No other complaints.

The rooms were dirty when I arrived, and housekeeping never came even though I requested it. When I brought up the problems, the manager blamed me instead of addressing them or apologizing. I expected basic courtesy and accountability and got neither. There are lots of new employees who don't seem to know what they're doing and make promises they can't keep. GM Shannon was rude and unprofessional, with no customer service skills. Shannon with the red glasses needs training on how to speak to people. Staff don't seem to care. This location should be shut down, and Shannon is bringing the Marriott name down with her attitude. I'd give the place zero stars if I could. Don't waste your time or money. I won't return or recommend it.

The location worked perfectly for us, and the amenities made it easy to relax. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff made me feel cared for the whole time. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and would come back or recommend it to anyone wanting an easy, stress-free visit.

The bed was pretty good, which matters most to me, and the location is great. The fridge didn't work, and I had to screw and unscrew the lamp's bulb to switch it on and off. The elevators were slow and made sounds like they might be about to die. One guy said one had flashed an out-of-service message on the third floor, then kept going.
