Otter Creek Eau Claire Altoona

The owners were kind enough to offer us a discount on another night when heavy snow fell the day before we were due to leave, in case we couldn't get home. We did make it back, thankfully. My husband and I had our first stay here this weekend, two nights for a simple honeymoon in the honeymoon suite, and it was kid free, which was the best part! 😆 The house, setting, and rooms are beautiful, and everything felt clean and comfortable. The suite had a full two-person jacuzzi, a nice view of the back yard, and a comfortable bed. It was very quiet at night, and with the Christmas decorations up, it felt like being in our own home. The whole vibe was different from anywhere else I've stayed.

We've spent hundreds of nights in hotels all over the US, and this is the nicest one we've stayed in, regardless of famous brands. It's a lovely homestead-style hotel with seven rooms and an excellent breakfast. We had the largest room, and it was even better than the pictures. The family hosting the place are very nice people. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful with everything I asked for, and I had no complaints. My boyfriend and I had an amazing romantic getaway. The food was good, everything looked stunning, and it was super comfortable. We'll definitely return. I'd recommend it for couples.

I wanted a one-night break from everyday stress, and Otter Creek gave me what I was hoping for. Before I found it, I was actually looking for a regular hotel room with a jacuzzi. This was my first Bed and Breakfast stay, and I don't think I'll look anywhere else now. 💛
