The staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. On Friday they held a free Happy Hour with chicken tacos and all the fixing, plus soda, wine, and beer. It was convenient for visiting my brother-in-law at his assisted living center nearby.

Some of my favorite things here are the full kitchen suites, refrigerators, den area, and complimentary laundry. The breakfast is very good too. Staff are the most accommodating, they listen to your requests and take care of them.

Whether you're at Staybridge Suites in Altoona for work or personal reasons, you're well looked after. The people are great, rooms are clean, and there are meeting areas and a breakfast buffet. It's in a central spot for most of the Eau Claire Area, about 10-15 minutes from Oakwood mall, Chippewa Valley Airport, and various restaurants. Highly recommend.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool was clean, and the courtyard was beautiful. Breakfast was great, though I wish the hours ran a bit later. With a two-hour time difference, getting the kids up by 7:30 am our time after a long night was early. The receptionist wasn't friendly and didn't try to put our families together or even on the same floor.

I was happy to hear at check-in that there was a hot tub, so I went straight there. The room was great too, with everything you need in the kitchen, and the bathroom was a good size. I also had a wonderful view for sunrise. Breakfast was okay, though it would be nice if they served potatoes.
