Friendship Inn

The locals had talked up the breakfast for so long that I was actually excited, but I was in for a letdown. The staff weren't very friendly, and when I asked about breakfast, they said they didn't serve it and that I could buy something at the diner. Thankfully, there was a McDonald's down the road. The motel's name is pretty ironic. The front desk still uses paper check-ins like it's 1986, and they don't seem to know about the internet or WiFi.

We were vendors at the Balloon Fest in Altus and stayed two nights. The room was nice, and the breakfast voucher for the diner was a bonus. Breakfast there was very good. The back parking lot was too dark for me, but otherwise everything was great. I'd stay here again if I'm in Altus.

The restaurant staff are great, and the wait staff take good care of you. I love having breakfast there. The food is always made to order.

The rooms were disgusting. My first room had roaches, and in the second the toilet didn't work. When I called the front desk, the woman acted like I was bothering her. Both rooms had a musty odor that stayed on my clothes after I left. Definitely not worth $100. If they're raising prices, they need to seriously upgrade the place.
