After what felt like endless driving on vacation, we came across the Holiday Motel and decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. The woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I'm 54, and it brought back memories of traveling with my parents as a kid in the sixties. It also had a microwave and refrigerator, which came in handy, plus a flat-screen TV and WiFi. Clean, comfortable, friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We came into town for a funeral, and the folks at Holiday made our stay wonderful. Some other posts mention Oklahoma hospitality, and I'd say these people took it to another level. The room was clean and very comfortable, nothing fancy, and the price was fantastic.

6/23/25: Looking back, this is a Landmark of Northern Oklahoma. I remember my stay fondly and those 120° days. Look up the old boy at the Airport with the P-51 Mustang, and watch for the DOT Trooper about 4 miles east of town. Just drive Oklahoma style, no hurry'in into town. I stayed here in june 2005 and thought it was much better than best western. Clean rooms and Oklahoma hospitality. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in town.

During my extended stay in Alva, the owners greeted me personally on my first day. They provided extra amenities and handled maintenance promptly and professionally whenever needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the outdoor recreation options made the stay more enjoyable. I have nothing but good things to say about the Holiday Motel, its owners, and staff. It'll always be my choice when visiting town.

Don answered when we called late Wednesday looking for a last-minute room. He gave us a couple of options and even checked out some local dining options for us. When we arrived, the room was clean, the beds were great, and the shower was hot. There was hot coffee in the morning, too. Awesome place to stay, and we'd definitely come back.
