We booked a Standard King and a King suite for one night on the way to Zion National park, but the value was good enough that we stayed two nights. The rooms, sheets, and towels were clean, there were plenty of toiletries, and breakfast was good. Everyone on staff was very nice, and we had no complaints. We stayed here again for a night on the return trip. One thing that really meant a lot: I left my dog's bed behind on the way out and called the hotel, not expecting much. Ten days later, when we came back, staff handed it to us washed and wrapped in plastic. I was so grateful for how thoughtful and efficient they were. Management and staff are doing a good job, and I'd definitely stay again. The dog fee is affordable. Dog-friendly rooms are toward the back, which we found a little better and closer to the dog walking areas. The in-room coffee is better than the lobby coffee. We're older and not tall, and getting on and off the bed took a little jump, which felt risky and inconvenient. The bed itself was comfortable.

Katie at the front desk made a really good impression, and I also loved the head housekeeper. Both were so sweet. But the fold-out couch had dirty sheets that hadn't been changed between us and the previous guests, which really grossed us out. The room needs updating, too. The AC seemed to be blowing a very strong perfume or cleaning spray smell, almost like incense or something Indian, and it made me nauseated the first evening. Breakfast was very dry with little variety. We travel often and pay extra so we can eat breakfast, but the eggs tasted like cardboard and there wasn't much else hot to choose from. Most of the other options were cereal, and there wasn't much fruit either. If you advertise a hot breakfast, it should live up to that. Still, kudos to Katie for being such a wonderful front desk associate.

The place felt safe, was pet friendly, and had a clean room with free hot breakfast. Great for the price, with excellent customer service. My wife and I stay over 20 nights a year at Wyndham hotels on road trips, and I wish every one of them had front desk staff like Katie at this Baymont.

The room was spacious and the bedding was clean, but this was the first time I've felt compelled to leave this kind of review. I'm a Diamond Member with Wyndham and travel extensively for work. The suite's kitchen sink was broken, with a faucet that popped off under pressure and wasn't even the right style for the sink. The TV hadn't been plugged in, updated, connected to Wi-Fi, or set up with the service provider. There was no fire alarm in the main sleeping area, a safety code violation, and no scoop for the ice vending machine, so you'd have to use your hands, which is a health code violation, or find a cup. The remodel was so poorly done that the GM should be embarrassed. The contractor should be fired, the hotel should demand a full refund, and a professional should redo the kitchen, bathroom, and light fixtures. I could go on, but you get the point. I don't know if I'll ever need to stop in Colorado Springs again, but if I do, I won't stay here.

Everything was clean and great, and the place had a very relaxed feel. The staff were so sweet, especially the pregnant woman. There was a system issue and I was charged by mistake. By the time we spoke with her, the refund was already underway, so we went back to our room. She came back to bring us a copy of the receipt so we could feel safer, which I really appreciated. It's about 40 minutes from nashville, with great strip malls and food nearby. Waffle House is right there, too.
