Before our first full season, we’d heard plenty of mixed opinions, but the campground has turned out better than we expected. The changes since the new management came in have been really noticeable. There’s a strong community feel, with activities for different ages and lots of chances to meet people. The staff are welcoming and seem to care about making everyone’s stay enjoyable. You can see the work going into improvements. It could work for a weekend away or for seasonal camping. Keep it up, Corey and the whole staff. We’re looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Weekends get busier, while on weekdays the kids can have the pools to themselves. Weekdays also have more of a party feel, so it depends what you're after. The place and pools were clean, and the staff were friendly. Corey, the new manager, seems to be moving things in a good direction. The hot tubs were in the middle of a full renovation, hopefully they’ll be ready next time. We liked having the Wolfpack shack on site. The food was good and affordable for a family with kids, and it meant the kids could keep swimming. There are stores nearby too.

We’re into our second season here as annuals. The park needed attention and better direction from management and Thousand Trails, so when a new Property Manager was brought in, many of us were holding our breath. Since opening day, it’s been clear that staff and management are putting in a lot of work. There are more staff around than last year, and they’re usually willing to help. The pools were ready for Memorial Day weekend, the hot tubs are being replaced, and the store has been revamped, with more work happening too. I don’t expect everything to be perfect by the end of one season, but so far I haven’t met an annual who’s unhappy with how things are going.

Being an annual means renting from April through October without ownership rights or any kind of renters’ rights, so make sure you understand that before signing up. The price is high, and the amenities seem to get worse each year. The one upside is that you can party all day and night. Most activities are organized by the annuals themselves, not park management.

I traveled there in late August 2025, and I doubt much has improved since. The pools were ice cold, greenish, and smelled sour, and every hot tub was closed. The place felt rundown and filthy, with nothing open because it seemed like nobody worked there. People often speed around on golf carts while drinking, so keep an eye on your kids. The few workers I encountered were very rude. Security seemed to consist of a few older guards who didn’t look capable of protecting anyone. It looked like a trailer park for people who can’t afford a trailer park, and I think it’s on its last leg. Save your money and go somewhere else.
