I slept really well: the room was quiet, the bed was clean, it didn’t smell, and the heat kept the temperature where I’d set it. The fridge worked too. The room was SUPER clean, with a great TV channel selection. I appreciated having an exhaust fan and a second bathroom light, so it wasn’t dark while bathing or showering. Thanks to the outstanding housekeeping. Most employees were welcoming and friendly. One woman kept asking for my license while I was trying to get it out of my wallet, then ignored me when I asked three times about checkout time. She was the exception. For safety, the police department is right next door. There’s no food within walking distance unless you’re up for a pretty long walk, but you can order superb Chinese food from China City restaurant. They require a credit card for the security deposit, which will lock up your funds, so choose your card carefully. VERY nice hotel. I’m pleased with the quality and highly recommend staying here.

I paid $249 for one night, then asked to extend my stay and was wrongly told I still owed $80. The manager charged another $100 to my card and immediately kicked me and my family out without explaining the charges or fees. When I politely asked him not to get smart with me, he threatened to call the cops. It was embarrassing, and the issue wasn’t only the charges: the GM screamed at us and behaved as if that was an appropriate way to handle it. I had to call him several times before he looked into the “computer system” error that caused the incorrect charges. I also tried contacting upper management, but it’s been over a week and I haven’t heard back. The way he yelled at me and the staff when he was the one who was wrong was completely inappropriate.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were great. It’s across the street from the Police and Fire Station, which felt reassuring, and I didn’t hear a single siren. Ambridge is a quaint little town with quite a few locally owned businesses. I have absolutely no complaints about Cobblestone Inn & Suites- Ambridge.

We’ve stayed at Cobblestone several times while visiting Beaver County. The rooms are nice and very clean, and the lobby is cozy. There’s no elevator to the second floor, which is our only complaint. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.
