Matt and Jen were excellent hosts, and we had everything we needed in a clean, comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath condo. Ours was on the first floor with a view of the Atlantic. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the waves. The pool and beach boardwalk were close, and parking was right outside. It was an easy trip to grocery stores and good restaurants. Great place to relax and unwind, and we’ll be back.

A nice beachside spot, though the condos feel a little outdated and there could be more parking.

The winding walking path through the woods is lovely, and the small-town feel is great. In winter the beach is empty, and Amelia Surf and Tennis Condo has the best beach view.

This condo is right on the Atlantic, and it’s dog friendly, with a communal pool and full kitchen. Three-bedroom, three-bath rentals are available, which can be hard to find. There are no stores nearby. The waves are good for boogie boards, though it’s not a great spot for seashelling. Fernandina is a lovely old town with a mini-Charleston feel, high-end shops, ice cream, artists, jewelry, the original courthouse, and train station. It’s 15 minutes away by Uber, which cost $16.00. The town is dog friendly too.

We rented a unit at Amelia Island Surf & Racquet Club for a week in June so family visiting from out of state could all stay together and enjoy the beach without driving in from Jacksonville. We loved our stay. The views of dolphins were beautiful, and the beach access is right on site.
