The staff really made this place for me. Even the cleaning and maintenance folks greeted me with a smile and a good morning whenever I passed them. The location is good for the price, though you do get what you pay for. The furniture is pretty worn and the rooms could use an update, but the big TVs are a nice touch.

We had a comfortable stay in a quiet area, with good beds and decent accommodations. The vent in our room was dripping coolant, though, and I’d rather have tile than carpet for cleanliness. It’s about 17 minutes from downtown Napa, so plan on taking an Uber to most places.

The bed was comfy, and I liked the TV and channel choices. Then, while I was in the bathroom, I spotted a large bug coming from under the door frame. It moved fast, but I chased it down and crushed it. I’m pretty sure it was a roach, which was really offputting. I’d planned to eat breakfast at the onsite Table 29 Bistro, but couldn’t find any county health inspection reports, so I went somewhere else, assuming the worst.

Staff were friendly, and we didn’t have any problems during our stay. The place was good value and close enough to Napa. It looks like renovations are underway. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the carpets seem old, so hopefully replacing and maintaining them is part of the work. Some shared areas, like the stairs, could also be cleaner.

The room was clean and the price was great, but it’s an older place and you get what you pay for. There was a crack in the wall, a musty smell, and a mini split instead of central heating and AC. We only had half a roll of toilet paper and one towel, so I had to ask for more.
