The pool and hot tub were a lovely way to wind down after traveling. Both were clean and looked well cared for. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the whole hotel felt fresh, modern, and clean from the start. Everyone we spoke with was welcoming and polite in a natural way, which made the stay feel easy. We left rested and glad we picked this place. I’d stay here again.

I’ve stayed at plenty of Wyndham properties, and I wouldn’t choose this one again. The hotel feels cheap, from the poor condition of the bathroom to the tiny, low-quality towels. Our two-queen room had only two towels, pool towels were almost impossible to find, and breakfast was pretty bad. Guests also pay $7 an hour to use the pool, while the pool table costs $1.50 a game and isn’t in good shape. The hotel was freezing the whole time, too. The room itself was just okay. As a Diamond Member, I was told I couldn’t get a suite upgrade because the rooms hadn’t been cleaned, even though those same suites were being sold for that night. It didn’t add up and felt like they just didn’t want to upgrade me to save money. I can’t see how this place averages more than four stars. My stay felt like a two-star experience. After reading more reviews, I’m also not sure the hotel gets its own reviews.

The location made getting to nearby restaurants and stores easy, and the hotel was quiet and felt safe. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, and more. Staff kept the food area clean and stocked. My room was spotless and cozy, with a really comfortable bed and pillows. I slept great. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing, too. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick. They made me feel welcome the whole time. I’d definitely come back, one of the best hotel stays I’ve had.

The room looked outdated and dusty, and the small shampoo bottle wasn’t enough for several nights. They gave me more when I asked. I was in town for a nursing event and stayed five nights. The first two days I left before sunrise and got back after dark, so I didn’t notice much. The rate was low, so at first I tried not to make the room condition a big deal. On my day off, I saw in daylight that the blanket and pillowcases I’d been using were dirty and had blood stains. My husband called the front desk and was told I’d have to bring the blanket in myself to get clean bedding. They said they couldn’t leave the desk, but when I went over, nobody was there. When a staff member finally showed up, he said the blanket wasn’t dirty until I pointed out the stains. There were no replacement blankets, and housekeeping wouldn’t be back until the next day. He handed me a brown throw from the back laundry area instead. I was fed up and said I wanted to check out. He refused a refund and said, “Whatever you want to do.” The pool stairs were another problem. One evening I slipped because the steps slope downward instead of being level. There’s a small “Watch your step” sign, but pool stairs shouldn’t be uneven. I wasn’t rushing or being careless, and I’ve never fallen in a pool before. I let it go at the time, but it felt unsafe. My husband contacted Staybridge to explain what happened, and they were shocked. They helped us move right away and offered a discount because of how bad the situation was. I was in tears by the end. There was no protective cover on the blankets, the bedding was filthy, and the AmericInn staff were dismissive and showed no care. I don’t understand the 4.4-star rating. Please think twice before booking. There are other hotels in the area that seem to care about cleanliness, safety, and basic hospitality. This place wasn’t worth the stress, and now I’ll have to file a claim for the days I’m not staying.

My room was clean and ready, and the beds were comfortable. The shower had good water flow, and its head was adjustable. Parking looked plentiful, though I’m not sure how it is when the hotel is full. There’s only one ice machine, near the front desk. The staff were personable and helpful. I didn’t try much of breakfast after the first day. The hot choices were just biscuits and gravy, with no egg dish. I needed to add another night, which they arranged. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, though at check-in they had trouble confirming whether I was still in the loyalty program. The clerk and I worked out a rate we both found acceptable.
