Amity Flats

The rooftop patio was a nice extra, and the prices were great. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, with a really comfortable bed. They kept in touch throughout and even left us a card wishing us a happy anniversary along with a few treats. There are several tasting rooms within walking distance, plus lots of wineries just a short drive away. We had an amazing stay and would gladly come back.

It felt like a high-end hotel, and the place was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The lift door was locked, so we couldn't use it and had to climb three flights of stairs late at night after a long drive. Hopefully it's fixed when we return later today. We'd stay here again.

The room was super cozy, and I loved the complimentary Pinot Noir and chocolates. The comfy bed, lovely bedding, and French press with local coffee grounds were all nice touches. I did wonder about the bathroom, which hadn't been given much attention before check-in. It felt more like an Airbnb in that respect than a hotel, so bring your own body wash and tissue box. The shared outdoor area has table tennis, which was fun, even though I lost. Loved my stay!

Barb, the owner, was a big part of what made our visit so enjoyable. She answered all my calls, was pleasant, polite, and helpful, and suggested local places to eat. We travel a lot, and she was a better host than any Airbnb host we've had. The hotel is also a bargain, even costing less than the Red Lion in McMinnville, which surprised us. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it. The building dates to 1905, when it was a Masonic Temple. After falling into disrepair over the years, it was restored by the new owners and turned into a real gem. It's right in the center of charming Amity, with several fun dining spots an easy walk away. Our room was spotless, spacious, and cozy, with hardwood floors, an exposed brick wall, a king bed, lovely furniture, and a dining table. The kitchenette was fully equipped, and the bathroom was very nice. The furnishings and decor mix old and new so well that the room feels like an upscale condominium. The walls seem thick, since we didn't hear our neighbors once all weekend. The hallway has art and warm lighting, and there's a lift for taking luggage to your floor. Outside, the rooftop patio has tables and chairs, a barbecue grill, and a ping-pong table. There's even a locked storage area downstairs for a mountain bike.
