Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites

We had a nice stay, and check-in was pleasant while checkout was easy. Our king deluxe suite had a comfortable bed and an electric fireplace that gave the room a nice feel. It’s a no-frills place, with no food or snacks provided apart from some Keurig pods. There was hair in the tub when we arrived, and little black specks came from the jets when we bathed my son. The lamps and a few other spots were dusty. I’d call it a 3.5 out of 5, but thanks for a nice stay! :)

We come to Anacortes regularly and stay here each time. It’s such a lovely find for the area, and very affordable. The rooms and crisp, clean linens have no harsh cleaning smell. The bedding is comfortable, and the bathrooms are a good size with supplies and a hair dryer.

I booked the King Villa for a family getaway and listed three adults, forgetting to add our two young children. That was my mistake. But the room was clearly spacious enough for all of us, so being charged extra for the kids at check-in felt unreasonable, especially since they were under eight. The hotel doesn’t offer per-person amenities like breakfast, and service overall is very limited, which made the extra charge more frustrating.

We picked this place for one night so we could catch an early ferry the next morning. It’s in a quiet area, with a nearby market and coffee shops for convenience. The room was clean, though airing it out at first helped. The bathrooms look recently redone, and laundry machines are available for a fee.
