My husband and 11-year-old loved the free breakfast, and said both the food and staff were wonderful. The front office staff was courteous too. Our room initially looked and smelled clean, though the bed bounced a bit. We had a two-double-bed non-smoking room, and learned that all even-numbered rooms are non-smoking and on the same side of the building. We came from Texas for a softball tournament and stayed on May 31, 2024. The motel is very old, but that wasn't my main concern. I wouldn't suggest it for families with children while the pool is under a tarp and still needs repairs. The owners said city requirements and resurfacing costs have kept them from fixing it. The bath faucet also took some figuring out: twist it back and forth from left to right, then pull it out for water. I'd recommend it for adults who are fine with basic accommodations. I wish the small business owner and staff all the best, they're kind people.

Sam has been a huge help during my stay, answered all my questions, and treated me with real respect. As a Marine Veteran, I appreciated how he made my transition easier and helped with my needs. The office puts guests first, and the staff and room service have been professional and polite. There's also a restaurant, the property is pet friendly, and there haven't been any noise complaints from either side. I'd recommend The Castle Inn and Suites to friends and family, whether they're passing through or staying longer.

The clerk was really friendly, but the room and the stay were average at best. Nothing much distinguishes it from other budget hotels, except that the hotel down the road was about $26 cheaper for a similar room.

We had a relaxing stay, and everything was great. The breakfast and coffee were good, and there was a small fridge and microwave in the room. It was WAY better than our stay about 10 years ago, so the new ownership seems to be doing a good job. Prices are very reasonable, and I'd highly recommend it.

Pretty good overall. The room was clean, the air worked well, and the location was convenient. The shower gave me trouble at first, but I figured it out.
