Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort

We came for a family Disneyland vacation with our son and his family. My wife called that morning to ask if they could put our rooms near each other, and our son mentioned that we’d be arriving later when he checked in around 3:00 p.m. We got there at about 6:00 and were assigned a room on the same floor, but at the opposite end. It didn’t seem like the front desk woman cared about the request. We stayed here a year ago, and that same woman helped us then too. She wasn’t very friendly on that visit either. The person at the desk really seems to determine what kind of experience you’ll have.

Breakfast was included from 6:30 to 9:30, with waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, fruit, muffins, coffee, and juice. After walking around Disney all day, the hot tub was nice, and the pool seemed heated at night. It does close at 9:30 p.m., though. There’s pizza, doughnuts, and a convenience store in the lot next door, handy for a quick lunch. It’s good value, close to the freeway, and major shopping centers are about 10 minutes away. Overall, a good stay.

Getting to the buses for the park was easy, and it was a short trip to Disneyland from the hotel. One especially kind and helpful man at the front desk made sure I got up the five flights safely when the elevator was out of order. He even came up with me and brought clean towels. I wish I could remember his name.

We’ve been here a few times, and it works really well for the price. The rooms are clean, it feels safe, parking is free, and there’s a pool and basic breakfast. The staff are friendly and professional, with Rick at the front desk being especially helpful. You can walk to Disney and the convention center from here.
