The staff were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel, and the rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was great: eggs, sausage or bacon, sometimes omelettes, pancakes, occasional waffles, toast, muffins, English muffins, juice, milk, yogurt, and the best cinnamon rolls. One day there was turkey sausage, and I wish they had it every day since I don’t eat pork. Having laundry on site helped a lot. We could manage the walk to and from the park each day, and the pool and hot tub were great too. Even on a cooler day, the pool temperature was just right. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Milly at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, the best part of my stay. The room was roomy and clean, and the toiletries they provided were good quality. It was quiet inside, although traffic was audible outside. Disneyland was an easy 10-15 minute walk, and the price was good for what we got.

Brooke, the service representative, was great, and the hotel is convenient for the park, about a 10-minute walk. The continental breakfast buffet was clean and always well stocked. We had a good family trip to Disneyland. But the Penthouse Suites are way overrated for what they cost. Ours smelled musty when we arrived, and one TV didn’t work. Staff already knew about it and basically said that was how it was. Why leave a broken TV hanging there? The suite is one big round room overlooking I-5. For a larger family space, I’d suggest the larger room with a separate living area and two TVs. Most of the time you’re hardly in the room anyway.

Most of our stay was good, and the staff were professional. Still, we gave it one star because valet was the only way to park. The website listed valet as an optional extra, but never said it was the only choice. Someone took our vehicle as soon as we arrived, and we had no say in the matter. Since Disney was just one stop on a long road trip, we expected to keep control of our car and belongings. If we’d known, we would have made different plans. The listed valet rate was $35 a night, but the actual charge was $38 plus tax, around $89 for two nights. Be prepared.
