Howard Johnson by Wyndham Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground

Being able to walk to both Disneyland parks, one on each of our two days, was a big plus. Harbor Blvd has plenty of places to eat close by, since there's no dining on the property. This is an older hotel, but it's well cared for, with mid-century modern decor that adds to its vintage charm. The upkeep is clear throughout. We'd happily stay here again for Disneyland or a major event in Anaheim.

I was there with my husband and child, and we'd book again next time we visit Disney. The staff made us feel looked after from booking through the stay. Special thanks to Jennifer Ruvalcaba and all the Front Desk staff for taking care of us. The location was ideal, just a few blocks from Disney, so we didn't need to drive there, and the hotel has parking. Our room was modern, comfortable, and spacious, with a coffee machine and microwave. There's also a shop and a water park at the hotel. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it.

The only small thing I missed was having a freezer. The room had a little fridge, but I needed somewhere to freeze gel ice packs for our Disneyland snack bag. Otherwise, the staff were great, the location worked well, and Mimi’s Cafe across the street had good food. We were there for birthday trips for my four-year-old daughter, born March 8th, and my four-year-old niece, born Feb 28th. The team was friendly and helpful, put us next door to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law after we arrived early, and offered to help with our luggage before check-in. Having connecting rooms made it easier for the girls to spend time together outside the parks. Rooms were cleaned every two days unless we asked otherwise. We spent most of our time at the parks, but enjoyed the hot tubs when back at the hotel. The lifeguards were great and easy to chat with. We'd definitely book with HoJo by Wyndham again.

We could watch the fireworks from our balcony, and the walk to Disneyland was quick. There's a splash park and clean pool, with a hot tub beside it for adults. Staff were much appreciated, and cafes and a McDonald’s are close by. We'd stay again.
