SpringHill Suites by Marriott at Anaheim Resort Area/Convention Center (Women only)

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, and it’s become our go-to. We’ll be back in a couple of weeks and are looking forward to it. The rooms have been clean, and the breakfast has plenty of options, including a different hot meal each day. We especially liked the gluten-free muffins and oat milk. On this visit, Adan greeted us at the desk when we arrived at 10 AM and already had a room ready. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and he sent a thoughtful package and card to our room. The bed was comfortable, too. A couple of small fixes are needed: the towel hook was coming loose from the wall, and the faucet was difficult to turn on.

A tip for booking: prices here can swing quite a bit, so I’d choose the refundable rate and check daily to see whether the price drops. We found quite a few places to eat nearby, though none looked especially appealing to us. CVS is right next door, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Disney esplanade. Our studio suite had enough space for two adults and two kids. It was mostly nice, with a little wear, but the Harbor Blvd-facing room got pretty noisy from traffic. The hotel sits by a major intersection and is easy to reach from either Katella or Harbor. Check-in was prompt, and there’s plenty of guest parking in the garage below, though it costs extra each day.

Everything we needed, including places to eat and Disneyland, was within walking distance. The staff were welcoming, and they kept the rooms clean and spiffy. Really good stay, 10/10. I’ll be back soon.

I was in town for a work conference, and the location worked well for both the convention center and Disney. The rooms are set up with families and Disney visitors in mind, with bunk beds and plenty of space. My first room had a few issues and no desk, so I switched. The next room had one, which suited me much better. The breakfast area was so packed that I didn’t really get a chance to try the food.
