Staybridge Suites Anaheim At The Park by IHG

I stayed here three years ago with my three pups and had a great visit. But when I called today to book again, the person I spoke with was honestly a total jerk, unhelpful and almost aggressive. I don’t want to stay there or have anything to do with that, so I’ll find somewhere else for my three or four days. Sorry to hear this place has gone downhill so quickly.

The kitchen was a nice bonus, with a full-size fridge, stove, sink, and dishwasher. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it’s a short walk to the Disney tram, maybe 15-20 minutes. Breakfast was great every day except our last day, which was a weekend. We were told it closed at 10:30, but they were closing at 9:30. That was our only complaint. We’ll definitely stay here again.

For our three-day, two-night Disneyland trip, this hotel worked really well for my wife and me. The price was good compared with similar places, the room was clean, and every staff member we dealt with was nice. It’s just within walking distance, about 20-25 minutes to the park entrance. Breakfast hours were convenient, and on weekends it stayed open until 10:30 AM, with lots of good options. I’d definitely consider it for a Disney trip.

Housekeeping kept knocking despite the Do not Disturb sign on our door. When we went to the FD, they said the sign hadn’t been there, even though I showed them a photo. Housekeeping had also taken the sign, so we had to ask for another one. It felt like they didn’t respect guest privacy at all. I work in hospitality, and the staff need customer service retraining. There’s only one elevator, which makes little sense in such a tourist area. With so many people using it, it could take almost 15 minutes to get up to your room and back down. I won’t stay here again. Per IHG standards, book elsewhere, maybe a Kimpton.
