Wyndham Anaheim

Cleanliness and friendly staff are what I look for, and this hotel came through on both. The bed was clean and comfortable, with no sign of bugs. There was an ice machine, a fridge with two bottles of water, closet space, and lots of outlets at both nightstands. The front desk and housekeeping teams were great. My small personal complaints: I wanted brighter bathroom lighting, the toilet paper roll was in an awkward spot, and the shower could have been hotter. You can buy a sit-down breakfast or grab something from their Starbucks. The lobby has good seating and papers to read. Walgreens and CVS are across the street, with a 7/11, food places, and souvenir shops within walking distance. Disney's entrance is about a 15-20 minute walk.

The rooms, lobby, and hallways are bright, spacious, and newly renovated, and the toilets in the rooms were sparkling clean. It all looks, feels, and smells fresh, with a top-notch heating and air conditioning system. I felt very safe in the neighborhood, even walking to Walgreens around 1 a.m. We picked the hotel to be near Disneyland Anaheim for the morning opening, and that worked out well. It's a 10-minute walk or a $15 Uber ride to the entrance, about the same walking distance as if you self-park. There are several restaurants for different budgets nearby, plus CVS and Walgreens across the street. No restaurant inside, but there is a Starbucks in the lobby. Basement parking costs extra and there's plenty of it. For the room size, I thought the price was a little lower than expected, so good value.

This was our second Disney stay at the Wyndham, and both trips have been great. Being able to walk to the parks makes a big difference at the end of a long day on your feet. Other hotels farther away have felt like a real trek back. The beds were comfortable and the rooms mostly quiet. We had noisy neighbors upstairs one day, but the front desk sorted it out as soon as we mentioned it, and it stayed quiet after that. Everyone was kind and helpful. Fredy helped us with several questions, and we really appreciated it. Highly recommend!

The rooms and facilities were clean and well kept. Staff on every shift were friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful. Disneyland is a 15-minute walk away, and just about any kind of restaurant is nearby, so there's no need for a rental car. We stayed four days and would highly recommend it. It's also a plus that pets aren't allowed, since our son is very allergic to animal dander.
