Alaska Chalet Bed & Breakfast

The chalet is peaceful and wonderfully quiet, with an outdoor deck where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails. There's a scenic overlook around the corner, and nearby Eagle River has everything we needed. Anchorage is a short drive away, though the lodging is a little outside the city and off the beaten path. We stayed 5 nites in June 2024 before our Alaskan cruise. Bridgette welcomed us with plenty of breakfast food, and the spacious 800 sq ft chalet had comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and even useful supplies stocked there. We recommend it, and also recommend Outbound Heli Adventures, the 2 landing Chugach Explorer, 30 minutes away. Landing on a glacier was breathtaking.

Brigette even asked what we'd like in the welcome basket and included a giant pretzel for my husband. She was kind and gracious, and the place had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, private, and very quiet, in a convenient spot near the family we were visiting after 3 yrs apart thanks to Covid. We came back each evening to unwind after busy days and were very satisfied. We'd consider staying again on a future family trip. Thanks much, Brigette!

It had all the amenities we needed, felt private, and was just the right size for a couple. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location worked perfectly, a little outside the city but close enough for a short trip into Anchorage. Definitely recommend!

The hostess was such a sweet woman and even baked us some amazing treats. Her place is lovely and feels cozy. The rooms ran a little hot, but it wasn't too bad.
