Four Points by Sheraton Anchorage Downtown

Flo was a huge help throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly even when we checked in at 2am. The building and rooms were clean and well looked after. Breakfast and service were great. It may cost a little more than other choices, but I thought it was worth it.

Staff service, especially at the front desk and breakfast, is the main reason I'd recommend this hotel. The room was dated but usable. There were some random people walking around the property, and someone spent the whole morning we checked out cussing behind it. Still, it's quite close to a lot of downtown Anchorage.

The front desk team gave great service, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I stayed Sunday night before joining my cruise from Whittier the next day. Getting here from the international airport was a simple Uber ride, and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Anchorage.

The price was ridiculous for what we got. I had a stuffy nose from the dirty heating and A/C ducts or vents, and our room wasn't serviced or given fresh towels during our three-day stay. I took the broken coffee maker to the front desk, but no replacement ever came. They charged us for breakfast without telling us the price beforehand, and I had to hunt for towels and toilet paper on the housekeeping carts in the hallway. I've stayed at other Four Points around the country and usually get a high level of service, luxury bedding, and nice restaurants. In my opinion, this was much closer to a cheap Motel 6.
