Homewood Suites by Hilton Anchorage

Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and this hotel was spotless and clearly well cared for. When I was heading to the desk to report a small bathroom issue, management was already on the way to fix it. The staff were very nice, breakfast was great, and the whole stay felt welcoming.

Kayla’s service is what made this stay for me. She was kind, efficient, and completely professional, and she’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to Homewood suites. The room was beautiful, too. Thanks, Kayla, for going above and beyond.

I’d stayed here in ’24 and had been hoping to come back for another staycation. This time, our room wasn’t cleaned while we were out. My daughter and niece were excited to swim and making the kind of noise kids make when they’re having fun. Then I got a rude call saying I had neighbors and that it sounded like a cow was in the room. I was already trying to calm my heart palpitations, and while I understand kids can be loud, the complaint could have been handled more kindly. I told the front desk, but they didn’t know who had called.

Business is clearly thriving here, from the hospitality and staff to the rooms. Breakfast could have been hotter, especially in winter, but everything else was great. Sally at the front desk made the stay a full five stars for me. Her smile is so warm and welcoming. Sally, keep shining, and I hope to see you again when I’m back next year.
