Yong is the reason I kept choosing the hotel bar during my weeklong work trip, even with plenty of local options nearby. She’s an amazing bartender, with a great personality and a genuine, welcoming way of treating people. The hotel is understandably under construction. My room was satisfactory, though a bit warm.

The Club Lounge appetizers were scrumptious, and the room had amazing views. For an even broader panorama, head to the fitness center. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The front lobby on 6th Street was under construction on Feb 2, 2026.

The business center printers weren’t working, and no one on staff responded to the problem. Several employees said they were new and then didn’t know what to do. Locals say renovations have been going on for months. There’s no spa or amenities. Breakfast was okay, while dinner was fair at best. The hotel itself was just okay.

Lyn was witty and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The rest of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, too. We stayed one night at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel as part of our cruise package. The building is older, but it was clean, had the amenities we needed, and felt up to date. It’s centrally located, within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. We’d definitely return if we’re ever back in this part of the country. Thank you!

Lyn at the front desk was amazing, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. You can walk to downtown for restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing, including good places to eat like The Biscuit Club. The hotel is okay, but for the price it could be better, and it doesn’t really live up to the Sheraton name.
