We booked three rooms about ten days ahead for a family reunion through the Hilton app, but two of the three rooms were double-charged. My sister-in-law paid for all the rooms at checkout, yet five days later I was still waiting for the charges on my credit card to be removed. They never answer the phone. As a Diamond member who's stayed in hotels all over the country, this was by far the worst. The staff seemed confused and unwilling to help. The room listed as accessible wasn't, and when I raised it, staff first said none was available, then changed their story and insisted it was accessible. That wasn't true. The rooms and exterior need major upkeep: the pavement and entrance were in poor shape, cleaning was poor, and repairs were needed throughout. One shower had only scalding hot water. At least one bathroom floor was filthy, and the shower and tub weren't much cleaner. A lamp was broken; none of the lamps had built-in charging or even a small charging area. Furniture was often nicked or had holes. Breakfast was gross and the dining area was tiny. The hotel needs major updates.

Breakfast was delicious, had a good range of choices, and ran until 10 a.m. The room itself was comfortable and clean, though it was quite warm when we arrived; adjusting the wall thermostat was easy. We were greeted cheerfully and given bottles of water and our room key. The hotel was also gracious and helpful when I had a question about the bill.

The staff were kind and accommodating, even finding me a toothbrush when I'd forgotten mine. The room was comfortable and clean, and having a microwave in it was a nice extra. I got a good rate and would recommend this hotel for the area, since the other places in the price range I was considering looked pretty dingy.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and even with the hotel's age, we enjoyed our short stay. The staff were kind and helpful. Quite a few things are old or don't work well, so the place is due for renovation. I hope corporate considers updating it.

I stayed here in December 2016 when my father was very ill and later passed away. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great each morning with a different choice every day. The staff were incredibly accommodating, beyond what I can say. I have other family in Anderson and will definitely stay here again when I visit.
