Andrews Motor Inn

My husband, son, and I lived at Andrews Motor Inn from January 2022 until the end of May 2024. After my husband died from organizing pneumonia and other health problems, my son and I left. The room we had been assigned kept having black mold in the toilet. About a week before he passed, he spent a night in the hospital with pneumonia, so I asked to switch rooms. They moved us next door, and he died three days later. Recently I tried to book a room again because of circumstances outside my control, but they refused service, saying I had blamed them for his death. I never did. I had asked for a refund for the two days I'd already paid for, and they denied that too. My husband died in their building, they kept the payment for the unused days, and now they won't serve me. I think people should know who's running this zero-star motel, though the rating required me to give one star. Go somewhere else. Anywhere is better.

The studio suite had a fridge, stove, and sink, which made it convenient. For the price and location, it was pretty good. I noticed the room wasn't cleaned when I was away at work, and the linens didn't get changed often. That's not a huge deal, but it stood out. It's small, yet fine for a cheap night or even a week. For anything longer, I'd think twice. It's convenient, but not really set up for a long stay.

A blessing to live there. It's comfortable and clean, with coffee and daily housekeeping. Management is great too!

This is the oldest, nastiest place we've ever stayed, and it ought to be condemned. The sheets had blood and urine stains, and I honestly doubt they're changed. We ended up using our own bedding and towels. My fiancé is working here, and this is our only option at the moment, but we're calling nearby hotels every day to check for vacancies. The place is run down, falling apart, dirty, and smelly. The shower swings from cold to hot, and sometimes the pressure disappears. A guest told us while we were checking in that he'd caught a bad foot fungus. The bathroom ceiling also fell in on our friend, who has to stay here too. A few remodeled rooms look a little better and cost another $100 a week, but they're still dirty. There weren't any signs of bugs at first. Update: a week after we left, we found bed bugs in our bed. Getting bitten and trying to get rid of them has been a nightmare. I want out of this hell hole.
