Even though I'd confirmed my reservation beforehand, the hotel didn't have it properly recorded when I arrived. They also charged me twice for a room I never used. I've tried contacting them to sort it out, but communication has been poor and nobody has corrected the mistake. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't want to deal with billing errors and unhelpful service.

We booked ahead for our daughter's fastpitch tournament, reserving Friday and Saturday nights because we usually play early Saturday. The room was in poor shape: stained mattresses, a shower curtain that kept falling, dirty carpet, and broken tiles that were greasy. We asked to cancel the second night and were willing to drive an extra 40 minutes to Odessa because other hotels were booked, but the manager refused since we'd booked through a third party. Luckily, the woman working Saturday moved us to a suite that was in somewhat better condition. The TV and very low shower pressure were the only problems in that room, and we slept a bit better. If you have to stay here, I'd strongly suggest checking the room first.

I usually like staying at Comfort Inn & Suits, but this location was a letdown. There was a sewer smell in the entrance and an odd odor in our room. The door had no safety lock, and there were big gaps in the frame and underneath, so hallway light came through as if we'd left a light on. On Saturday morning, while we were getting ready, the cleaning ladies opened the door without knocking. The same thing happened Sunday morning. Our checkout date was 06/23/24. I was very upset, and I won't stay here again or recommend it.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious. But we stayed two nights with my two toddler granddaughters, who were excited to swim, and only found out after checking in that the pool wasn't working. There was no sign or mention at check-in. The elevators stopped working soon afterward, and we were on the third floor. It was difficult with my bad knees, the luggage, and two toddlers. The beds were a bit messed up, and the toilet seat was too small, so you slide when sitting down. The windows open without screens, so be careful with small children. I felt unsafe, and not telling guests about the closed pool unless they ask seems shady. I wouldn't recommend or return.
