WorldMark Angels Camp

We had a nice setup inside, with a good kitchen, living room, and dining space, and the grounds were kept in great shape. The friendly staff were a plus too. There’s plenty to do, including two pools, pickleball, basketball, and more. Best of all, mule deer would wander right past our back porch while we cooked.

Seeing deer below our balcony each night was lovely, and the facilities were attractive and well maintained. Most of the staff were great, except Tom. We kept finding bugs in the room, including spiders, pill bugs, centipedes, and others. I mentioned it to the front desk when we arrived, but nothing changed.

The renovated rooms are a big part of why we keep coming back, and the nearby golf course and deer help make the place feel quiet and peaceful. We’ve been visiting for more than 20 years, usually a couple of times a year, to get away from the city and relax. The property has been renovated a few times, and management has continued improving at giving people what they want. I do miss having pool towels freely available by the pool, though there are other added benefits. Watching a movie in the jacuzzi, the games around the office, and cold snacks on some days are nice touches. We plan to keep returning as long as the place is maintained and continues to improve.

A great place to stay, and our room was quiet and comfortable. Most rooms are away from the pool and rec center, so we could relax without much noise. We didn't need daily housekeeping, so no one knocked on our door. The pool temperature was just right, neither too hot nor too cold. The one thing I wish they had was a way to cast from my phone to the TV. I don't need TV channels since I can access everything I want to watch on my phone.
