The Wingate in Angola is still my first choice when I’m in town. I was there again for a local university athletic event, and it had a genuine feel with modern surroundings. Chelsea at the front desk was especially friendly, in that “we actually like our jobs” kind of way. I always try to say hello to housekeeping staff in the halls, and the folks here were very friendly too. Kudos to management for the top-notch hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, and the staff were amazing and welcoming. I also loved the full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower, plus a full-size lotion bottle mounted on the bathroom wall. Breakfast in the morning was great too.

The hot chocolate bar was a favorite little extra, and we all appreciated it. The staff were friendly and welcoming from check-in through check-out, always ready to help. Our stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in Angola, Indiana was great. It was clean and well maintained, so we felt comfortable right away, and the beds were especially comfortable after a long travel day. I’d definitely choose it again when I’m in the area.

The breakfast was outstanding, and the fitness center was wonderful. The hotel is near the Trine University sports complex. Staff were friendly and accommodating, my room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

We were heading from Kalamazoo, MI to Cleveland, but the weather got so bad we couldn’t keep driving. I’m glad we were able to get a room here. The hotel was very clean, the room was great, and the bed was comfortable. Everyone was pleasant, and it’s right off the expressway. The young woman at the desk was especially helpful when we checked in. She gave us extra coffee pods and even lent us a wine opener. Since we couldn’t drive home or make it to Cleveland, we made the best of the evening, and the hotel made a cold, miserable night relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was good too, especially the sausage gravy.
