I wanted to cancel as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. The place felt old and gross, the opposite of the clean, modern, updated Country Inn I expect. My kids were worried about bed bugs, and I don’t believe the 4.2 rating. There are other hotels around that look much better. We only stayed because my husband was exhausted after driving 11 hours and didn’t want to risk finding no room on a holiday. There’s continental breakfast, but we will not eat here. If they don’t take pride in the building or rooms, I worry the kitchen is even more disgusting. Look at the pictures of our room. I wish I’d seen the other review from two years ago. Nothing has changed.
10/10
Jake at the front desk answered all my questions and was so kind and helpful. I really appreciated it. The beds are very comfy and the rooms super clean. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a 10/10 experience.
8/10
The location is nice and quiet, away from the bustle but still close to restaurants and shopping. Customer service was great, and the room was clean and nice, though the carpets and walls show the usual wear. I liked the walk-in shower with no tub to step over. The pool area was spacious, and I spent most of my time in the working hot tub. It’s hard to find hotels with one instead of just a pool. They also have a fitness room and serve a generous breakfast.
2/10
We were here for the National Senior Games and were very disappointed. Mold was obvious beside the AC unit and in the bathroom, and the whole hotel smelled putrid, like wet carpets. The place was a dump inside and out. Don’t waste your time or money here. They need to be closed.
6/10
The breakfast was decent, and the rooms seemed pretty clean, nothing terrible. The pool and hot tub were actually quite dirty, though we used them anyway. One staff member was a tool about kids making noise in the lunch area, and wasn’t enjoyable or friendly in general.
