Candlewood Suites Annapolis

The suite was clean, had everything I needed, and the hotel was quiet, so I’d stay again. Check-out was the one sour note: the woman there had a nasty-nice attitude for no reason. Still, I had a very nice stay.

Victoria at the front desk was pleasant and gave me useful information, and the room was clean and suited my needs. I’d driven an hour and a half from Millsboro, DE with my dog for surgery, needing somewhere to stay while she was under and possibly overnight. Her prognosis unfortunately wasn’t good, so I ended up staying only a short time. A couple of things to know: parking costs extra, and watching TV requires casting from your phone.

I loved my room, and the staff were so cordial and courteous. This was my first time staying with this brand, and it turned out to be one of my best stays. I’ve already sent the hotel link to a few friends and will book again next time I’m in Annapolis.

We travel often and have never had a hotel fail to get us into a room after three tries. I can’t recommend this one. We arrived mid-evening to find the WiFi down, which meant we couldn’t check in because the front desk computer depended on it. The staff offered us a room but couldn’t make keys. We’d booked a king suite, but they first sent us to a queen suite. We went back, explained, and were apologized to and redirected to a king. Once the WiFi came back, the desk called us to check in. The staff member then realized they’d assigned us a room that was already occupied. I said I’d move one more time, but that would be it if anything else went wrong. Upstairs, we found the room hadn’t been cleaned: towels and linens were on the floor, as if housekeeping had started and left the job unfinished.
