The hotel is reasonably priced and right where you want to be for an Annapolis getaway. There’s an outdoor seating area that’s lovely for cocktails and snacks, and sometimes there’s live music. We were on the second floor and could hear the downstairs music and bass, but it stopped around 10 PM, which seemed perfectly reasonable for sleeping. It’s nice having the option of a lively social spot right at the hotel. Though check-in and other things are mostly self-service, they still make you feel valued. The team is helpful and accommodating, including with dining reservations and activity ideas. Mary from guest services was delightful and a big help. The location and staff couldn’t be better.

We spent the holidays at the Capital Hotel Annapolis, right in the middle of downtown, steps from Main Street, the waterfront, shops, and all the holiday lights. We caught a beautiful sunrise over the rooftops, with the whole city seeming to glow. We also visited the Christmas tree, wandered the lit-up alleys, took photos, and enjoyed the festive feel around town. Our room was bright, spotless, and nicely furnished, and felt like home. Cassidy could fall asleep wrapped in blankets without a care, and the quiet morning made for a cozy start to the weekend. The team was friendly too. The comfortable room and location made the stay everything we’d hoped for and more. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommend! — Michael Doyle & Cassidy

The lounge was our favorite part. It’s arranged for conversation, with no TV in sight. We also really enjoyed the small plates and the excellent craft cocktails, which were reasonably priced. The rooms were well appointed, and the staff were friendly and offered ideas for things to do. It’s perfectly located for exploring downtown Annapolis. My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Capitol Hotel, and we’re looking forward to returning.

The room was just right, and we loved the amazing location. We also had delicious food and drinks in the Parley room. We had a great stay this past weekend and will definitely come back next time we’re in Annapolis.
